Lovely stay, would book again if I return to Sidemen

The views from this hotel are amazing, the staff are so lovely, the breakfast and food as a whole is delicious. The pool was lovely too. Great atmosphere at this hotel, really enjoyed our time here.

The bathroom curtains were stained as well as some stains on the walls but nothing too major.

Lovely hotel in peaceful setting

The hotel surroundings were really nice with a lot of greenery and a lovely view of Mt Agung. We were there just for the night, so we didn't get a chance to try the pool. The dinner was tasty.

The bathroom could use a refurbishment. There were quite a lot of steps to our room which was a bit of a problem with the luggage as we left the hotel early morning before the staff began to work. I believe that they would help us carry it if they were there, as they did when we arrived.

Nice location among terrace fields. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Bathroom is big.Breakfast is good. Friendly staff and owner.

Only 2 free small bottle of mineral water a day. No face towel.

Great views, great location, good staff, good value for money

Incredible views and a great location in sidemen. Walking distance to other hotels and restaurants and hikes etc. good breakfast and good value for money. Staff were attentive to what you needed. A nice pool to laze around if you didn’t want to go out. A good massage in house

It is a little outdated, could do with a little bit of TLC but this is only me trying to find a fault. Overall it was a good stay with good value

The loveliest, friendliest hotel staff! A very special place to stay

Everything! Such a gorgeous place to stay, the pool was amazing! The room was stunning and the bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get out. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. This is a very special place. Great breakfast choices too.

wonderful property with a killer view and a nice deep pool. all staff was super nice and helpful. great breakfast.

the property is so so beautiful! the pool is so awesome! and the breakfast was great.

having no a.c. and only a ceiling fan was pretty rough. this was our only stay in Indonesia where we didn’t have a a.c and found it so so hard to sleep at night. we had to keep the windows open which let bugs and bats it. not sure if screens on windows is a thing but that would be helpful. also, a standing fan would really help to push the hot air out of the room. not sure if any of the other rooms on the property have ac but that would be an awesome addition.

Amazing location but maintenance needed

The location of the hotel is exceptionally beautiful. In the middle of rice fields, with a beautiful view of Mount Agung in good weather. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is good and tasty.

The rooms, however, are in desperate need of a complete renovation. The bathroom fittings in particular are very unsightly and should be replaced. At check-out, although it is explicitly stated otherwise on Booking.com and is also forbidden by law in Indonesia, a 3% surcharge was demanded for credit card payment. Disappointing.

Best spot in Sidemen - View of Agung and Rice Terrace = LOVE!

Room: amazing view of Agung and rice fields, ask for the top room near the reception, that one is the best. Pool: clean, lovely, just super nice. Restaurant: good enough and seriously, really good food View: so gooooood! Clean, staff very nice and lovely, cheap, I mean: super top stay in Sidemen

Unbeatable view.

This hotel possesses immense potential and could easily become one of the top establishments in Sidemen, thanks to its unbeatable view. We had the opportunity to witness the breathtaking sunrise while sitting in a tranquil state, accompanied by the beautiful melodies of singing birds. It's important to note that the hotel provides what you pay for, so it's best not to expect a 5-star service comparable to Abyan Ayu Villa. The property could benefit from some renovations, and the towels seemed a bit worn from years of use. However, despite these minor drawbacks, we had an incredible time overall in Sidemen.

Great villa to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sidemen

Amazing location in the ricefields of Sidemen, with one of the best view of the area on the Mount Agung. Stunning view from the balcony of the room and the swimming pool.

Vegan options for the breakfast would have been much appreciated by my fiancée.

Stunning tranquil break

My favourite of all places I stayed. Stunning tranquil view of rice terraces and Mt Agung. Abian Ayu Villa has friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food that was well priced for the area and a lovely pool area. I chose a deluxe room, which had air conditioning and a bathtub in the bathroom. It was clean and comfortable and even had universal power outlets so I didn't need to use my adaptor. I also got an excellent massage. I would love to return for a longer stay.

The bathroom sink was slow to drain but this was a minor issue. I had aggravated an existing hip injury the day before arriving, so I had to go slowly when taking the stairs between my villa down to the pool and dining area - good for people with mobility limitations to be aware that there are many stairs as the villa is built into a terrace.

Great value for your money!

This place is a great value for money. It has beautiful view of rice paddies. The restaurant serves great food at very good prices. One day we were leaving at 4 am to go to Gates of Heaven and they packed us some breakfast 'to go' as we would miss it otherwise, which was a very nice gesture. They helped us to rent a scooter and organise a taxi to Padang Bai. We liked everything really.

The place does not have an air con, which was ok for 2 nights and obviously we were aware of it as description mentions that so no surprise there. I would still say it is a very good value for your money. We stayed at the very beginning of May and it was ok without the air con.
